Fall Fest: Parade Marches On; Final Day Arrives (Photos)

What's Happening Monday?

Here's a look at some of the special events scheduled for Monday, Sept. 3—the last day of the festival—as well as the hours the carnival is open. You also can take a look the map of the festival grounds in this article.

Frankfort Fall Festival Schedule

MONDAY
10 a.m.-5 p.m.: Arts and crafts exhibitors open
10 a.m.-5 p.m.: Food booths open

Carnival

When: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday
Where: The new parking lot next to the Trolley Barn, near Kansas and White streets
Cost: $1.50 per ticket; $25 for 22 tickets; $60 for 55 tickets. Rides and attractions need between two to four tickets per person. 

Breidert Green Stage

Where: Breidert Green
Cost: Free

MONDAY
Noon: Boss Tenors 2.0 (jazz) 
2 p.m.: Leadfoot (bluegrass)

Beer And Entertainment Tent (BETA)

Where: Breidert Green parking lot
Cost: $2 from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday through Monday. Children younger than 12 are free before. Food will be served by the Lincoln-Way East High School Music Boosters.

MONDAY
1-5 p.m.: The Bishop (rock)

I like the coverage.... EXCEPT.... you do not have any pictures of the Lincoln-Way Central band. Why is it Lincoln-Way Central has been often imitated, but NEVER duplicated! Where are their pictures?

Even though we shoot a lot of photos or entire events, we're not always able to publish everything we capture. It can be for a variety of reasons, either because the photos that were shot didn't turn out or something happened and we weren't able to take the photograph.

Let me assure you, however, that there hasn't been a conscious effort to exclude Lincoln-Way Central High School (although since this story originates from Frankfort Patch, we don't put as much emphasis on the New Lenox high schools that we do on Frankfort ones).

The great thing about Patch, though, is that you can upload your own photos to the article. Did you get good shots of the L-W Central band? If so, post them here. I'm sure a lot of people would love to see them.
