UPDATED: Five More Mokena Valentine's Deals

Adding to our list last week, here are five more ways to plan Valentine's without leaving town.

This week, we're at it again with five great ways to plan your Valentine's Day without leaving town.

Roses

Until Feb. 20 at An English Garden, $75 gets you 12 assorted and arranged English roses, a Mylar balloon and a special treat, either an edible delight or a stuffed animal.

Candy

The Sweet Company can pull together gift baskets of candy and other sweets for your sweetheart. Call 708-479-5858 for more details.

Lobster

When looking for fine lobster in Mokena there's only one place to go—White Castle.

Just kidding. We're talking about Mr. Benny's Steak and Lobster House. As of Tuesday night, there were still some openings at Mr. Benny's for Valentine's Day.

This is unlike White Castle, where both the New Lenox and Orland Park locations are already completely booked for the chain's yearly Valentine's Day promotion. The Mokena location is closed for renovation, but you can find more local White Castles here.

Salons and Spas

This might fall more under Valentine's Day preparation than celebration, but Mokena has tons of places for both men and women to prep and primp for the big night.

Rather than select just one spot, here are all the Patch Places directory listings for Beauty and Spas.

Finding a Sweetie

A last-minute deal added at about 3 p.m. today, Feb. 8, (hence the "UPDATED" in the headline), the promo code MOKENAPATCH will get men aged 39 to 49 for free into a speed-dating event at 8 p.m. tonight, Feb. 8, at 191 South in Mokena.

Without the promo code, tickets are $24.

Can't make it tonight? Don't worry, there are more options.

Entering that same promo code, MOKENAPATCH, will get women aged 21 to 39 and men aged 24 to 39 for free into another speed-dating event at 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at Chicago Blu in Frankfort.
