Break out the popcorn, lawn chairs and blankets, it's time once again for a Movie in the Park, hosted by the Mokena Community Park District. On Friday, July 27, the park district will show “Smurfs,” starting at about 8:45 p.m. at Main Park. The event is free to attend and concessions will be available for purchase.

“Smurfs,” starting Neil Patrick Harris, features a combination of live action and computer-generated animation, telling the story of what happens when the Smurfs tumble out of their magical world and end up in New York City. The movie is rated PG.
