Seems most recent eating establishments in Mokena are labeled “upscale”. Just what does that mean? Does it mean only six figure yuppies are invited and the blue collar working class keep out? Or does it simply mean high prices for everyone?

Blame it on the "pukes" that ruined this town...

I guess there is no such thing as a neighborhood tavern or a cocktail lounge any more. No jukebox or pool table, one tv tuned to the Sox game and if you were hungry, the bartender would put a ham and cheese sandwich in the light bulb oven. Gone but not forgotten. Thank you

Actually R.W. we do have those places in Mokena. Little Al's on Front Street and Post Game Pub on Willow just west of LaGrange.

I wish they would add more details about the location besides just the address. For example with the popcorn shop why not say in the same complex as Ambrosino's and Dunkin Donuts so readers can immediately picture in their minds where these places are.

Why not go out to your car and dig-up an old map to see where it is?
Dude is correct- Patch, owned by AOL, really should have even a complete adress that could be: highlighted and rt-clicked open in new tab, search google or even a hotlink to map.
