A 19-year-old Palos man accused of giving heroin to a teen girl was sentenced to two years in the state prison for violating his probation on an earlier theft conviction.
Matthew Lefebvre's most recent arrests in connection to an Oct. 26, 2012 incident, where police were called at 11:30 p.m. to a home in the 11000 block of Helena Drive to help with an ambulance call for a teen who had overdosed, violated his probation, authorities said. The teen was hospitalized but didn't die from the overdose.
The girl reportedly overdosed a second time in November and Lefebvre was arrested again.
Lefebvre is expected to plead guilty to the misdemeanor child endangerment charges for the overdose incidents, but court records didn't reflect any plea entered as of Friday afternoon.

OAK LAWN - Pair Plead Not Guilty to 7-Eleven Robbery
Two men pleaded not guilty to robbing an Oak Lawn 7-Eleven store in December.
Clifton Hall Jr., 50, and Clifton B. Moore, 39, both of Chicago have both been charged with several felonies, including armed robbery, possession of a weapon by a felon and aggravated assault. They are scheduled to be back in court on March 5.
An Oak Forest man accused of strangling his wife and setting her body and their home on fire is scheduled to be arraigned next month.
Martin Rodriguez, 48, is scheduled to enter a plea on Feb. 14; the case will then be assigned to a trial court judge.
A supervising nurse and key witness against an Oak Lawn man accused of sexually assaulting a then-93-year-old dementia patient at an Orland Park care facility has been fired from the facility and is now involved in a civil lawsuit.
Robert Phelan, 58, is out on $350,000 bond in connection to the July 24, 2011 alleged incident. He is scheduled to be back in court on March 19.
ORLAND PARK - State Testing DNA Evidence in Fatal DUI
Investigators will test blood found at the scene of a DUI-related accident that killed a Lockport nurse last summer for DNA evidence.
Matthew Senica, 25, has pleaded not guilty to 14 counts of aggravated DUI and one count of reckless homicide in connection with the July 8 accident that killed 51-year-old Heidi Roseen on her way to work as a nurse at Advocate Christ Medical Center. A status hearing has been set for March 8.
ORLAND PARK - Judge in Reckless Homicide 'Frustrated' With Delays
A Cook County judge agreed with the defense that the reckless homicide case against Nicholas Sord, 25, of Orland Park is getting "very, very old" as another status date passed with no progress and he wants to move toward a resolution.
Sord has been charged in the DUI-related car crash that killed 20-year-old Jessica Mejia of New Lenox three years ago. He is scheduled to be back in court for status on March 8.
A Frankfort pediatrician acquitted of charges he groped a Joliet woman in his office more than 10 years ago has been smacked with a lawsuit alleging he pulled the same stunt on another woman in 2011.
The lawsuit claims Dr. Kishor Jain touched the mother of one of his patients "in a sexual fashion" and caused the woman "shock and horror." The woman had taken her child to Jain's office in the Hedges Clinic in August 2011 when he suddenly "grabbed (her) breasts with both of his hands while she was talking to him about her child."
The woman, identified in the lawsuit only as Kathy Harmon, claims she was shopping in the 2141 Calistoga Drive supermarket in February 2011 when her son, Daniel Harmon, grabbed a soda from a display. After Daniel Harmon grabbed the soda, the lawsuit says, another soda fell from the display and hit him in the head and face.
