Mokena's Farmer's Market: What's Your Favorite Part?

The Mokena Downtown Merchants' Farmer's Market is off and running on Front Street every Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., through October. Patch wants to know after two weeks: What's your favorite thing at the market?

Two weeks into its existence, the Mokena Farmer's Market is off to a strong start.

The last two Saturdays have seen Front Street shut down near the Metra parking lot, as businesses set up shop along the street, selling candies, salsas, baked goods, cheeses and more.

If you've stopped into the market, there's a good chance you've already found your favorite vendor and Patch wants to know who has earned our readers' seal of approval.

So, sound off in the comments and vote in the poll, and if you think the market is missing something, tell us what it needs to become your favorite.

In two short weeks the Mokena Downtown Market has gained a tremendous following. Looks like it is going to grow into the type of market we all hoped for. I won't be surprised if they end up with forty or more vendors on a regular basis.
