wow, a whooping 20$, how generous. I think they should stop paying for higher ups cell phones and reduce the fee even more. Just an idea.

I'm pretty sure you can avoid the fee and still drive your kids to school.
I agree bout the schools not being run like a biz.
Kohls, Jewel, etc. all have a few of the best parking spots reserved for disabled, as they should. Schools also reserve a few more of the best spots for principals, superintendant, etc. Why is that? Wouldn't those spots by the office be more useful for parents picking up ill kids or dropping-off backpacks? What ifJewel reserved spots for manager and asst. mgr?

Gary not all parents can drive their children to school! Some parents (like a lot of my friends) have to work! Also not everyone pays $200 for buses. If you live closer to the school you pay a higher fee! Luckily I am able to drive my child to school!

It is against the law for them to be charging in the first place, it has been since they started doing it. There has just not been any parents to stand up and take them to court over it. The following is from April 2012 & to my knowledge it was not passed but I could be wrong----The state is considering pushing changes in the coming weeks that would end a state mandate for free busing for students who live more than a mile and a half from school or who face certain hazards that prevent walking.
