Readers' Choice: Who Grills Mokena's Favorite Steak?
Calling all meat-lovers and carnivores! Vote for the restaurant that serves your favorite cut of prime meat and tell us why you love it.
There's something intensely satisfying about cutting in and devouring a perfectly prepared steak.
(Unless you're a vegetarian; then the whoe affair is probably a bit unappetizing.)
At Mokena Patch, we want readers to tell us what restaurant serves their favorite steak. Vote for your favorite one in our poll and share with readers why you like it in the comments section. The winner of Mokena's favorite steak will face off against the winners in Frankfort and New Lenox in a special Lincoln-Way Chowdown Showdown. Voting and commenting ends April 21.
While you're at it, give a shout out to the bar and restaurant your favorite bartender works at in our Patch business directory. Think of your recommendation as a public service, telling residents the best places to go in Mokena.
Here's a list of restaurants serving steaks:
- Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar
- Chef Klaus Country Cooking
- Fox's on Wolf
- Jenny's Steakhouse (in 191 South)
- Mindy's Ribs
- Mr. Benny's Steak and Lobster House

Odd choice of restaurants. Do people really go to Fox's, Applebee's, Mindy's for steaks? Chef Klaus' Country Cooking? Isn't that a breakfast restaurant??

What does that tell you about Mokena's choice of nice restaurants for steak? As you mentioned (Mokena Resident) these are odd choices......I'm surprised the Creamery was not included......LOL.
