Top That: Tell Us the Best Lincoln-Way Burger; Win a $50 Gift Card
This week your local editors tried burgers in Frankfort, New Lenox and Mokena. The place with the most reader reviews and comments wins, and by participating you can get a shot at winning a $50 gift card to a local restaurant.
For this week's Chowdown Showdown, local editors Joe Vince (Frankfort), Michael Sewall (New Lenox) and Paul Dailing (Mokena) tried burgers at restaurants in their respective Patch towns.
Our reviews are in the photo captions above, but to truly give a restaurant the title of "Best Burger in the Lincoln-Way Area," we need your help. Here's what you can do:
- Comment: Leave comments below to show support for your favorite burger.
- Upload photos: Click "Add Photos & Video" near the photos above and upload a shot of your favorite burger. Tell us where it's from in the caption.
- Review: You can write a review in the business directory to let us know they've got a great burger. Click on the names of the restaurants below to write your review.

Tom Kelly's Pub Burger is the best in the area! We have known of Tom Kelly's but assumed that is was your typical Pub with the typical food. This is not the case! We tried their carried out to see if we were right and was blown away with their burger. We have now put Tom Kelly's at the top of our list when we need our burger fix.

I vote for Jameson's in Frankfort. They do a great job at cooking the burger at the right temperature and offer some tremendous options to build the burger. Tom Kelly's has a good Patty Melt and I like the Burgers at Primetime, even if they tend to overcook them (medium rare means medium rare!!!).

I LOVE the Stoney Point Grill burger - perfect texture, perfect seasoning and perfectly complemented with sweet potato fries. Yummy!!!

We drive to Chicago for burgers at Kuma`s which is rated one of the top burgers in the city. Wild Rover burgers compare favorably to Kuma`s! Without a doubt the best burger in the area and their homemeade soups ROCK! Not your typical bar food at all.
