What Should Go Here? Empty Mokena Family Restaurant

After closing abruptly near the end of 2011, the Mokena Family Restaurant location on the corner of Wolf Road and 191st Street still sits empty. So Mokena Patch wants to know, What Should Go Here?

It was once the beloved Mokena Family Restaurant—but now, the business space at 11133 191st St., sits empty. Located at the corner of Wolf Road and 191st Street, the business space is part of a strip mall that contains a 7-11, a nail salon, hair and tanning spas, and an insurance agent.

Mokena Family Restaurant closed abruptly in November 2011.

The space sits in the corner of the strip mall and could be an ideal home for another small restaurant, perhaps a bait and tackle shop, or maybe a small craft store?

Patch wants to know what you think should go there, so sound off in the comments and let us know.

Any solid business that will generate some needed tax dollar revenue for the Village.
Hopefully the trustees and our famous mayor won't turn them away.
