The purpose of this blog is to update parents and community members of Mokena on the current issues facing Mokena School District 159 schools.
All information is gathered based on open communications from all parties that are involved in our children’s education including: Mokena School District 159 School Board, Administration, Mokena Teachers Association, Parents and Community Members of Mokena. Also from attending D159 School Board Meetings, Parent/Teacher Advisory Committee Meetings, communicating with Mokena Teachers Association, parents and community members of Mokena.
The ultimate goal is to make sure that the Mokena School District 159 School Board, Administration and the Mokena Teachers Association act responsibly with accountability. Making and acting upon the best decisions for the benefit of the children of Mokena in every aspect possible and available.

Bravo! It is so good to see these blogs, comments used for a great cause. Bullying.
Please become more active. There should NOT be any division between the District and the Parents, especially when it comes to this subject.
However, as they say, for the "bad" to succeed , all it takes is for the good people to do nothing. C. Martinez , perhaps ensure anyone on here knows of the web site on facebook also , please
