The 2010 confirmation class and mentors will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 22, and Wednesday, Sept. 29 in Room 1 from 6:30-8pm. The "official" rite of confirmation will be on Sunday, Oct. 3, at the
9:30am service.
The 2011 confirmation class and mentors will meet on Wednesday evenings starting on Sept. 29 from 6:30-8pm.

More About St. John's United Church of Christ
St. John's is one of Mokena's oldest churches, with a building dating back to 1922 and a congregation dating back to the days of the Civil War. It currently has two Sunday worship times, a traditional service at 8am and a family service at 9:30am. The congregation is quite active and involved in mission trips, children's and youth ministries, Bible study groups and music programs. Nearby is the Christian Community Center, where some services and sports activities meet. The church also houses a preschool.
