Dog Rescue Group Needs Supplies
The Dog House Humane Group, a pet rescue organization for the Southland, is low on supplies.
The Dog House Humane Group is a pet rescue organization facilitated in New Lenox and McHenry, IL is desperately looking for supplies, including puppy food, dog treats, beds and leashes.
The drop off location for donations is Karen's Pet Grooming and Boarding, 309 Republic Ave., Joliet.
The Dog House Humane Group is a non-profit rescue service dedicated to helping and saving the lives of dogs." Most of our dogs we save were on death row and only had a few short days to find rescue. We are their only voice," according to the organization's Facebook page. The group works with volunteers throughout Illinois and Southern Wisconsin that foster pets as well.

A list of requested donations:
- Crates and beds
- Dry food for dogs and cats along with puppy formula
- Bowls, pads and toys
- Comforters, towels and sheets
- Bleach and vinegar
