At the spring event for his clients, financial advisor Michael Moylan handed each attendee a piggy bank. They were instructed to fill it with their spare change and that filled bank would be their admission to a December event.
On December 5th at the Bolingbrook Golf Club, the piggy banks were collected and the change inside counted for a total of $2,300. Moylan's organization, Mokena-based Advanced Planning Advisors, matched the amount bringing the total to $5,000 for Toys for Tots.
Clients came from Mokena, Tinley Park, Orland Park, Frankfort and Palos. "It was great to have so many people come together for a great night and an even better cause," stated Moylan.
Most of our clients are pre-retirees or retired and have grandchildren, so this was a great organization to align with at this time of year.
