30th annual Halloween Hollow

The Mokena Community Park District is hosting the community’s 30th annual Halloween Hollow Festival.

Activities will begin on Friday, Oct. 14, with the Carnival and Food Vendors from 5-10 p.m. 

Halloween Hollow continues on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 10 a.m. to  5 p.m.

Many other fun, fall activities are offered throughout the day including the Free Haunted Trail with numerous spooktacular scenes provided by local businesses, civic organizations, and individuals. Trail visitors can vote for their three favorite scenes as they walk through the trail. The Haunted Trail is free to participate and winners receive cash prizes.

The Treat Barn will be open for children to receive a bag full of treats for a small fee. Please remember bags are first-come, first-serve!

The famous Scarecrow Laboratory offers materials to create a life size scarecrow to take home. 

Other activities include hayrides, horse rides, face painting, pumpkin patch, carnival rides, petting zoo, free stage entertainment, and more.

Our many Merchandise and Craft Vendors will be selling toys, kids items, and beautiful fall creations for fest-goers to add to their Halloween or Autumn decorating. 

The Ghoulish Goodies Food Court will offer a variety of favorites to satisfy any monster’s appetite including favorites such as Hot Dogs, Nachos, Pizza, Funnel Cake, Popcorn, Hot Chocolate and much more.
