From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31, the EXPO will buzz with exciting vendor booths, some really great deals, many exhibitor give-a-ways, wellness checks, an electronics recycling drop-off spot, non-perishable food collection drive and more. Every adult will have a chance to win a new dishwasher, as well.

Entertainment for the young set – including balloonist, face painter, a magician and more will bring Saturday’s community EXPO to a new level.

Spotlighting a dynamic region of industries, retailers, consumer services, entrepreneurs, education, social services and recycling action, the Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce is excited to open its annual EXPO, “Experience Chicago Southland,” to all this year, said Brenna Norder, Vice Chair, Business Activities.

“Since so many of our members offer products and services, this will allow exhibitors to showcase their businesses to consumers. The community will have the chance to see much of what Southland offers and get some great convention deals,” Norder said.

“From 3 to 7 p.m., Friday, March 30, before community day, the EXPO will be business-to-business with the exhibitors’ showcase in the afternoon and a Taste of the Southland networking event in the early evening.

EXPO admission and Convention Center parking are free.

This will be an event no one will want to miss, said event co-chairs Phil Maser and Jorge Norrick.

The Convention Center is at 18451 Convention Center Drive. Check the Chamber website, www.ChicagoSouthland.com, for more information or call the Chamber, 708-957-6950.
