Fall Festival and Roast Beef Dinner

The ladies of the Ruth Society of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church of Mokena will hold their Fall Festival Saturday Nov. 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Heritage Hall of the church at 10731 W. LaPorte Rd.
The all-day bazaar will include needlecrafts, gift items, doll clothes and holiday decorations.  Freshly made baked goods and canned items, as well as preserves, will be available for sale in the Country Store. There will be a Pet Corner and a selection of gift baskets, stocking stuffers and unique teacher-hostess-friend-child-boss-coworker gifts. Strollers are welcome.
       A light luncheon will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A superb roast beef dinner, with all the trimmings, will be served from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. by members of the congregation.  Tickets are $8.50 for adults, $3.50 for children of elementary school age.  Youngsters in kindergarten or younger are free.  Carry-outs are available.
Dinner tickets will be sold at the door and the public is invited.  The event is a fund-raiser for the Ruth Society, which provides altar service, volunteer help and financial support to Immanuel.
Tickets are available for a drawing for a popular Gift Basket with items worth roughly $200.
