The market was running at full bore this weekend, the grand opening was a huge sucess.Barb Bergman the Market Master has done a terriffic job of organizing this market. Dave Molinari and Frank Rossi did a great job of entertaining the crowd. Old timer"s mused they never though that they would hear opera sung on Front Street Franco Martrana sang wonderful arias and many Italian folk tunes. The market grows each week and vendors keep being added. The folk's of Mokena are attending the market in droves and should be commended for their support. It has truly become an America Market . Front Street will rise again, keep the faith.

Another great job by the Mokena Downtown Market Committee. In five weeks they've created a miracle on Front Street. Every Saturday has been better than the previous one. "Mantenere il buon lavoro, ci piace"! (Keep up the good work, we love it!). Trustee Don
