Last Chance for Social Media Education

The Mokena Community Public Library will host a Social Media Basics Workshop on Friday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The workshop is being presented by the Workforce Services of Will County.

Does social media scare you to death? Have you wondered about the difference between a tweet and a status update, Facebook versus MySpace and questioned what LinkedIn is?

The is stepping in to help Mokena residents looking to improve their social media IQ. The library will host a Social Media Basics Workshop on Friday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., presented by the Workforce Services of Will County.

The workshop is designed to help attendees use social media in job searches and show them what potential employers look for when view applicant's social media profiles.
