Through Sunday, visitors to will be treated to art from local adults, teens and children taking art classes.
Instructor Petey Winkleman said about 30 students' works were featured. She said about half the work came from the younger artists, a fact that was evident in Friday night's opening.
"It was packed with all the kids here last night," Winkleman said, laughing.
The art show usually takes place in April, but was pushed up to take advantage of the foot traffic from Saturday's Mokena Business Expo and Health Fair, also at The Oaks.
