Line Dancing: It's Not Just Country Anymore

Line dancing is a sport enjoyed by dancers in many cities across the world.  Choreographers from Asia, Europe, Canada, Australia, and the United States create beginner, intermediate, and advanced line dances to be learned and danced in both classes and workshops.  Attending a line dance workshop is a great way of meeting new dance friends, learning current line dances, and touring the city sights once the weekend workshop is completed
Choreographed dances are enjoyed at our local ballrooms in the area, country-western bars, and country fairs.  Dances are choreographed to both popular country music and current pop music as well.  Dancing and its music can be enjoyed by everyone, old and young alike.
I attend Mark Cosenza's line dance class to learn current line dances.  I also dance at local ballrooms when I can to practice my dancing with my dance friends, the Boot Scooters.  The Boot Scooters will be attending Windy City Line Dance Mania 2013 Columbus Day weekend at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Rosemont, IL.  There we will learn from many line dance choreographers like Scott Blevins who is a local dance choreographer.
