The Reviews

Best Coffee...Best gifts...Best, wonderful, friendly, Owners!!

Eggcetera's downtown location by the Metra has three votes in its favor. (And has the editor's vote too after Friday, when Dino got one of the kitchen guys to help me jump my car in the snow after I left the headlights on.)

This is definitely the place to go for breakfast or lunch. The coffee is always fresh. The service is great. The food is like homemade. The prices are very reasonable. *****

Great coffee and food, atmosphere much better than the 191st location.

went simple, writing:

Great coffee!!

Want to add to Eggcetera's lead? Want to give your favorite coffee spot its rightful recognition? There's still a chance.

Voting ends at 5 p.m. Sunday.

How to Vote

Make sure you're logged into the site, then click on the directory listing of your favorite restaurant on this list.

Then, in the comments section, tell us what makes the restaurant great. That's all it takes!

You can talk about the coffee, other dishes, the ambiance, the service—any new review between now and 5 p.m. Sunday will count as a vote for that restaurant.

If we missed a great spot for coffee, email me at pauld@patch.com so I can add it to the list.

Don't worry, we didn't forget , just gave it a week off after it won .

The Breakfast Nook will face off tomorrow against bacon from New Lenox and Frankfort, so be sure to check back tomorrow to see how it does!
