L-W North presents “It’s Murder in the Wings”

Area residents will have three opportunities to catch the show -- 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25; 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26; and 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 at Lincoln-Way North High School.

Join the cast and crew of the Lincoln-Way North High School Theatre Company as they present their fall play “It’s Murder in the Wings” by Pat Cook.

Students have been hard at work preparing for the zany 90-minute show, which tells the story of a struggling publishing company that is on the brink of a big break when its boss mysteriously passes away an hour before the company is to celebrate the signing of a new client.

Fearful of any bad press that his death and possible murder might attract, the staff decides to keep the news of the death under wraps. Find out if the staff is able to pull off when the Lincoln-Way North High School Theatre Company presents “It’s Murder in the Wings” for three days only Oct. 25-27.

“The students have been working really hard to put together a great show,” said Lincoln-Way North teacher and fall play director Jennifer Reusz. “The production is hilarious and appropriate for all ages.  It will be sure to have you on the edge of your seat.”

Cast in the production are: Breanne Peacock, Emily Ruzevich, Taylor Weber, Lauren Vitiritti, Bryanna Johnson, Breanna Shapiro, Bri Kowalczyk, Taylor Herrmann, Maggie Conroy, Thomas Swierczyna, Arturo Gutierrez, Jack Quirk and Billy Zeitz.

The student director is Maura Alroth.

Crew members include: John, Kinast, Joey Granko, Logan Johnston, Andrew Scheel, Mike Wells, Devin Werner, Alyson Conrath, Kailey Falsey, Mary Ciszek, Michelle Housh, Aly Martin, Katie Weaver, Maggie Sheehan, Tim Morrison, Megan Morrison, Dana Mayfield, Kaitlyn Kintz, Jeremy Kalisz, Alec Volante, Canon Routson, Evan Bottari, Shoshana McClarence and Mary Mitchell.
