Five Things You Need To Know This Week: Register to Vote; School Board Meetings

  • Tomorrow (Tuesday, March 8) is the last day to register to vote for the April 5 election. Mokena residents can register at  or at the Will County Clerk’s Office, 302 N. Chicago St., Joliet. You can also register by mail.
  • The Board of Education will have its regular meeting Wednesday, March 9 at 7 p.m. at . Action items include a request to prepare a tentative budget. View the entire agenda here
  • The Lincoln-Way 210 Board of Education will meet Thursday, March 10 at 7 p.m. at Lincoln-Way Central High School. Take a look at the agenda here.
  • The will host a beach party Saturday, March 12, from 1 to 3 p.m., complete with limbo, hula hoops and complimentary hot dogs and snow cones.
