Resources at the Mokena Community Public Library District are
available to anyone who has a library card. Students can turn to the
library for materials, programs and services that support academic
achievement. “Our library provides students with the tools they need to
succeed,” says Executive Director, Cathy Palmer. They will have
access to a world of both print and electronic resources. Mokena
Community Public Library District houses over 80,000 titles in print and
over 30 online subscription databases available in the library and
remotely. Students can access free reference resources 24/7 online at www.mokena.lib.il.us. These resources include Tutor.com for students in grades 4-12 and College students. Online access to tutoring is available 3:00-10:00 p.m., seven days a week.

The
library also offers programs, activities, book discussion groups and
more. By providing school-age children with engaging
programs and amazing collections, students from all backgrounds become
excited and enthusiastic readers. This September, open the door to a
world of possibilities for the student in your life and sign up for a
library card today. Visit us online at www.mokena.lib.il.us or call 708-479-9663 for more information.
