In December 2009 Liz was diagnosed with a large mass in her brain, and although she immediately had it removed, less than a year later it had regrown and multiplied. This was then followed up with six weeks of daily radiation. She has been unable to work, denied for disability benefits (appeals have been filed) and her bills keep adding up. All through this, Liz had kept a positive outlook for her and Alexis, her two year old daughter.
