Mokena's Farmers Market
The Downtown Merchants Association delivers on its promise for a great Farmers Market.
The 2013 Farmers Market season is underway.
Each Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. along Front Street, Mokena's Downtown Merchants Association is delivering on its promise for to provide fresh produce, plenty of crafters and oodles of food vendors.
With between 40 and 50 vendors each week, the market features fresh baked good, specialty items and plenty of entertainment.

The Downtown Merchants Association has booked a variety of acts set to appear on two stages. This year a main stage will feature some famed regional talent, performing everything from bluegrass music to pop songs. A second stage, referred to as the Show Case stage, is designated for upcoming and rising local stars. "We want to give local talent a chance to perform," a spokesperson said.
