Langlois Insurance Agency Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

For a New Lenox business that has been operating for over 30 years, tradition and heritage are of upmost importance.  That is one of the reasons that Matt Langlois, owner of Langlois Insurance Agency, became enamored with the historical building on the corner of Route 30 and Pine Street in the heart of downtown New Lenox.

Originally built in 1897, and dubbed “The Hilton House” by the New Lenox Area Historical Society, this building had fallen into disrepair over the years.  After months of careful renovations, Langlois Insurance opened its doors at 200 West Maple Street.  Much of the original craftsmanship – from the rod iron fence to the beautiful scrollwork gracing the front entrance – was refurbished during the renovation process.  Antiquity, coupled with modern construction, truly make this building something special!

In order to celebrate this endeavor, the New Lenox Chamber of Commerce hosted a wonderful Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on June 27, 2013.  The event met with great success and the New Lenox Chamber noted, “Congratulations to Langlois Insurance Agency as they celebrate 30 years of service in New Lenox with a move to their new location at 200 West Maple Street.  Thank you for your many years of service to our community.”
