Last Chance for Leaf and Branch Pick-Up

Village crews will roll into town one last time this spring, to pick up leaves, branches, twigs, and limbs—free of charge.

Been meaning to clean the yard of all those leaves, uprooted plants, or tree trimmings piled up? 

Your chances are almost up, reminds the . There is only one pick-up day left: April 18

Want the crews to swing by your place? You'll have to call (708)479-3900 to set it up. Residents within the corporate limits of Mokena are asked to place leaves in plastic or paper bags (maximum 55-gallon capacity) at the curb the day prior to pick-up. Any brand or type of bag may be used. Landscape stickers are not required for pick-up. Limbs, branches, bushes will be picked up from the curb at this time and should be place in bundles no more than three feet in length.
