Arbury Hills students learn about the Potawatomi Indians

Guest speaker visits Arbury Hills students

The second grade classes at Arbury Hills were visited recently by a guest speaker.  Katie the Coyote Lady, from the Will County Forest Preserve, shared her knowledge of the Potawatomi Indian Tribe.  Students learned about their housing, clothing, and also learned about games that the Potawatomi children played.  Students really enjoyed the visit.  Thanks, Katie the Coyote Lady!

Arbury Hills School is part of Summit Hill District 161.  Summit Hill District 161 serves the communities of Frankfort, Mokena, and Tinley Park.
