Mokena Veteran of Korean War Dies
Veteran Arthur J. Sitzberger served for the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Mokena resident Arthur J. Sitzberger died at 80 years old Wednesday, May 8 after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Sitzberger was a veteran of the Korean War, where he served in the U.S. Air Force. He was married to the late Anne Sitzberger and father of Stephen, Ken, the late Kevin, Karen, Jim and Judy. He was grandfather to nine and great-grandfather to one.
