Van Driver slips up in front of police officer
Ali Tahir, 27, Bolingbrook, was issued four traffic tickets after he made a wrong move at 191st Street and LaGrange Road.
an officer was in his squad on 191st Street when he noticed Ali turn into the path of another vehicle while making a right hand turn onto LaGrange Road.

When police stopped Ali's southbound car, he allegedly said to the officer, "I'm sorry I did that. I won't do that again if you let me go."
The officer simply asked then for his driver's license, which came back suspended. Ali was ticketed for driving on a suspended license, failure to signal, improper turning and improper display of registration.

A check of the vehicle's license plate revealed that the van's plates were expired too. The vehicle, a 2000 Dodge Caravan, was owned by Mohammad Mian, Bolingbrook.
Mokena police ordered the vehicle towed.
Ali posted a $3,000 bond with an "I-Bond" card, and he was released.
