Burglar Ignores iPhone and Television, Takes $1,000

During a recent incident at Jump Zone, a burglar shattered the door and took cash from the business office, leaving items at the front desk untouched.

An iPhone, television and cash register drawer were left untouched during the recent burglary of a Mokena business.

The burglary occurred at 5:15 a.m. Jan. 28 at Jump Zone on 190th Street.

When Mokena police arrived at the scene, they discovered that the glass door had been shattered, according to department reports. Police found a rock the size of a baseball directly in alignment with the door at the end of the hallway.

The cash register drawer was left on the front desk. An iPhone and a 37-inch television were untouched. A bolted safe and a lock box containing loose change and several singles and twenty-dollar bills remained undisturbed.

In the office, drawers were left open on the desk and file cabinet. A bankers bag containing approximately $1,000 was missing.

The matter was forwarded to Mokena Police Department Investigations.

That sucks. Small Biz can't absorb too many hits like that. Sounds like a pro if he left the iPhone tracking device.
