Drugs and Driving, Not a Good Combo

Charlestta S. Bandy, 36, of the 4200 block of E. Linwood Boulevard, in Kasas City, Mo., was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of drugs, and driving without headlights when required, improper lane usage and bringing a controlled substance into a penal institution, following a stop by Mokena Police.

Officers said that they saw Bandy leave the Shell gas station, 19100 S LaGrange Rd., and drive straddling the center line and white lines on the road. During a traffic stop, officers noted a small bottle containing an unknown yellow liquid in it, which Bandy said was alcohol.
