The owner of a movie and video game rental kiosk at Lenny’s Gas ‘n’ Wash on 191st Street reported that at 2:50 p.m. Jan. 16 five video games worth $250 were rented using three credit cards belonging to the same person. When the games were not returned, the owner contacted the cardholder, who said that she had not rented the games, but that her wallet was recently stolen.

Police blotter information is provided by the Mokena Police Department. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions taken on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. If you or a family member are charged or cited and the case is subsequently adjudicated, we encourage you to notify the editor. We will verify and report the outcome.
