One of the reasons I moved to Mokena is because I was under the impression it was a quite, non-violent town. Looking at this map, I wish I would have checked things out sooner.

Better than most..Mokena is still a safe town to live in..

There is crime no matter where you live. The majority are thefts. At least there are no "Homocides."

Mokena is still a great community to live in and quite safe , the great majority of these crimes are property related and our Police Dept. does a great job it's just so difficult for them to be everywhere at once ! Remember the adage " when you hunt deer you go where the deer live " .

Are you seriously comparing Mokena to a violent town? Maybe you should move to Joliets east side and see how that works out for ya!
