They are a record of police actions taken on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. Maybe it was the outstanding warrant? Secondly, isn't this gentlemen the brother of the lady who ran over her boyfriend/baby daddy, Christine Meyers?

Kyron Birk, 28, Mokena, was arrested by Will County Sheriff's Police on Jan. 4. He was remanded from court. No bond was set. I wonder what the charge was.

" Stacy Niemiec, 51, Lisle, was arrested by Frankfort Police on Jan. 5 and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. She was also charged with three felony counts of aggravated DUI, two misdemeanor counts of DUI and three traffic violations. " Wowsa. I'm no reporter, but surely there is more to the story. Why 5 DUI counts? Do they convict on the first count, then try you on subsequent counts as repeat-offender ?

Hi Linda, I'm hoping to talk to the police department tomorrow and have a story on this particular incident published soon. Thanks for reading! Anna
