Throwing Stones

Over the weekend, someone threw a rock through the window at CNC Landscaping, located at 10920 Walnut Ln., police said. The complainant also said three lights had been broken. There were no witnesses or suspects.

OCT. 16

Damaged Trailer

A 57-year-old man in the 20000 block of Pinegrove Court told police someone damaged to his Wells Cargo trailer overnight but did not take anything from the trailer. The door to the trailer appeared to have been cut into with a cutting instrument.

Car Burglar Takes Tools

A 40-year-old man told police his car had been burglarized overnight. His car window had been shattered, and hand tools valued at more than $600 had been taken from the car. There were no fingerprints because of heavy dew on the car.

Buske Park Slide Damaged

Someone damaged a pink slide at the Buske Park playground, located at 11435 Hillside Ln., police said. The slide had a large hole in it and the damage was estimated at $500.

Cannabis Possession

Daniel P. Daly, 29, of the 19300 block of Tramore Lane, was accused of possession of cannabis (30g or less) and arrested after he handed police a brown medicine bottle containing a green leafy substance during a traffic stop, police said. Police had stopped Daly because he was driving with one functioning tail light, according to the report. Daly was released on a $750 bond pending a Nov. 11 court date in Mokena branch court.

ATV crash

Kevin Sheehan, 21, of the 19300 block of Victorian Drive, was accused of criminal damage to property, criminal trespass to state-supported property and reckless driving, and was arrested after the ATV he was driving tore up the grass around the pond outside his home, police said. Witnesses said Sheehan had been driving his ATV around the pond at a speed of 30 mph when he crashed the vehicle in the pond and hit his head. Police could smell alcohol on Sheehan's breath and Sheehan was "being disrespectful" to police and fire personnel, according to the report. Sheehan was transported to Silver Cross Hospital for his injuries and was processed the next day. Sheehan was released on bond pending a Nov. 17 court date in Joliet.
