School Bus Window Smashed
A bus driver from a Christian school in Palos reported that a window on a school bus had been broken, police said. She said the incident happened sometime over the weekend. Police added that the windshield and a back window had footprints on them. There are no suspects at this time.

Hitting a Mailbox
Two mailboxes in the 10800 block of Carpenter Street appeared to be hit with a baseball bat in the overnight hours from Saturday into Sunday.

Fight at Morgan's Thunder Bowl
Randy P. Kazlauskas, 28, and Danny R. Kazlauskas, 24, both of the 15500 block of Wolf Road in Orland Park, and Robert M. Kazlauskas, 26, of the 14300 block of Pinewood Drive in Orland Park, were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, police said. Police were called to Thunder Bowl regarding a bar fight involving five people. A witness said one of the victims, who was not charged, had been hit in the head with a chair by Randy Kazlauskas, according to police. The victim elected to press battery charges against Randy Kazlauskas. All three men were released on $1000 I-Bonds and due in court July 13.

Cardinal Fitness Burglary
A Mokena woman said that sometime during her stop at Cardinal Fitness, 9418 W 191st St., someone had broken into her car, police said. The woman said her purse had been stolen with a cell phone, credit and debit cards, and also two checks inside. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time.
Keyed in the Parking Lot
A Frankfort woman reported that while she was in BrookHaven Market Place, 19800 S LaGrange Rd., the driver's side door of her car had been scratched with a key. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time.
TUESDAY, MAY 17
A Marked Apartment
Someone drew on the door to an apartment in the 11000 block of Front Street, police said. The tenant reported seeing markings made with red and black permanent marker. Police said that in order to get to that door, one had to obtain access to the building. An inspection of other doors yielded no other graffiti.
