Police Blotter: Busted Up Car, Lost GPS, Stolen Golf Clubs
Mokena Police reports from June 18-23.
SATURDAY, JUNE 23
Car Carved Up
Someone scratched a car and slashed its convertible top, the owner told police. The damage took place while the car was parked in the Hickory Creek Metra sometime between 4:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. The car was scratched from the outside driver mirror to the rear taillight. The victim told officers that he did not know many people in the area and had no suspects.

Lost GPS
Police met with Mark J. Connolly, 57, of the 18900 block of Parkway Lane, who told them that sometime after 11 p.m. on June 21, an unknown suspect(s) entered his car via an unlocked door and took his GPS. Connolly he did not witness the incident and did not know who could have taken it.
Booze, Golf Clubs Gone
Brendan W. Hanrahan, 32, of the 18900 block of Parkway Lane, told police that sometime between 7:30 p.m June 12, and 5:33 a.m, June 22, an unknown person(s) entered his attached garage and stole two cases of beer and his golf clubs. Hanrahan said he believe he left his garage door open over night and that's how the suspects got in. Matter was forwarded to investigations.
