Stolen Car Crashes into Semi on I-80
Two people were taken to Silver Cross Hospital after a crash west of South La Grange Road in Mokena at about 12:25 p.m. State police say the car was stolen from Joliet.
Police are investigating a crash involving a car stolen from Joliet and a semi-truck on Interstate 80 Saturday afternoon.
Two people from the car were taken to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, according to Illinois State Police. At least one person in the car was male. Police did not have details about the identity of either person early Saturday afternoon.
For an unknown reason, the stolen car crashed into the back of the semi at about 12:25 p.m., about one-half mile west of South La Grange Road on I-80, police said.
