What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?

Economic development, we lose millions of dollars in sales tax
because our officals laid off our development person and used a do it yoursef approach.I would to cut the red tape for business's wanting to come to our village.

Why are you seeking office?

I'm running to bring my business expertize to the village. I feel I can help in bringing more development to the village.
I have run 2 sucessful construction companies,and know I can be of service to the village.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?

I have and extensive backgroud in construction and development.I understand building codes and know how to read ledger sheets and blueprints.I understand bonding and banking,and can read and understand financial statements.

In you opinion, what are the primary challenges facing the village?

For the past 8 years Mokena is drifting along hoping business runs into us. The villages around are out smarting us and out working us to get business.This has to change, our taxing bodies need the Village officals to be working to bring business and manufacturing and jobs to Mokena. This is the only way we can keep property taxes from going thru the roof.
Our schools need help.

How will you address those challenges?

Compete better than we have for jobs and lost sales.Go to local business's and citizens for their in put. Have open meetings and stop working behind the citizens backs.

If elected, what will be your philosophy as a member of the village board? 

I would let the citizens know that I want their input, and if I can help them I will.Give them a full and fair hearing on their desires and complaints.
