Electricity Rates Dropping

The village's electrical aggregation program results in reduced rates.

Mokena's electricity rates are anticipated to drop due to the community's electrical aggregation program.

The village board last week announced that a 2.42 cent savings per killowatt hour is anticipated for those who dropped ComEd in favor of the village's aggregation program. Overall, the savings are expected to add up throughout the year. Read more about the outcome of the village's aggregation program in the Chicago Tribune.
