Illinois Reacts: State Passes Bill To Legalize Same-Sex Marriage

Take a look at a few reactions to Illinois coming closer to being the 15th state in the country to legalize gay marriage.

The Illinois General Assembly narrowly approved same-sex marriage Tuesday, with a 61-54 vote in the House and 32-21 in the Senate. Illinois is on the way to become the 15th state to allow same-sex marriage. 

Gov. Pat Quinn already signaled that he would sign such a bill. The vote comes less than a month after supporters rallied in Springfield for marriage equality
