To help prepare residents and small-business owners prepare for a March 20 referendum that could hopefully cut local electric bills, the held a public forum to answer residents' questions last week.

A "Yes" vote on the electrical aggregation referendum, which will appear on the March 20 ballot, will give the village the power to shop around for a cheaper electricity rate than ComEd currently offers.
If the search shows ComEd still offers the cheapest prices, nothing will change.
