D159 Schools Wear 'Jeans for Wishes'

The three District 159 schools raised more than $2,200 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation by paying to wear blue jeans and Disney clothes.

A week ago today, students blue jeaned and Disneyed more than $2,200 for children with life-threatening conditions.

That was the day , and participated in Jeans for Wishes 2012.

In the fundraiser for the Illinois Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, teachers could wear blue jeans or Disney wear if they donated $5 or more. Children could wear the clothes if they donated $1 or more.
