Hero School

Mokena Park District is offering Hero School on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. beginning Jan. 11 for five classes at Mokena Elementary School, 11244 Willowcrest Lane, Mokena. Registration deadline is Jan. 4. This one-of-a-kind athletic program is for any kid who wants to be a hero! Each class will focus on a heroic trait such as Spiderman's agility, Superman's strength and speed, and Jedi light-saber techniques that will help kids develop skills for real-life situations such as fire safety, stranger danger and more.
