Family Leaves Behind Legacy at Lincoln-Way East

A local family's legacy will forever be on display at Lincoln-Way East.

Their children may have moved on from Lincoln-Way East, but a local couple's heart is still with the school.

John and Pamala (Liston) Walsh chose to honor their family's Lincoln-Way history with the Lincoln-Way Foundation's Commemorative Brick Program, Sun-Times Media reports.

“Our family is very proud of our Lincoln-Way history, and very grateful for the opportunities afforded us as a result of the high educational standards held by this district,” Class of '75 graduation John Walsh told Sun-Times reporters.

The Walsh family commemorative bricks are on display in the auditorium lobby at Lincoln-Way East High School.
