Believe it or not, plenty of Mokena kids are happy to head back to school. The proof is in the pictures!
The first day of school is a big deal. Students, or parents in some cases, have to find the right outfit to wear, get the best seat on the bus, meet new classmates and teachers, and so much more.
How did Mokena residents and students remember their first day of school? With photos of course! After putting a call out to our Facebook followers (and if you don't already like Mokena Patch, what's up with that?) we got some great photos of students from around Mokena ready to start the new year.
