Peace Community Preschool takes great pride in collecting toys for the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest.

For the past five years, the children bring in new, unwrapped toys to be donated to children battling cancer. The service project is optional and the children and families always go above and beyond with their generosity.

You can find more about this organization and the way they help bring smiles to children online.

Peace Community Preschool is a parent co-op for 3-to 5-year olds whose mission is to share the love of Christ with young children and their families. We currently have students enrolled from Frankfort, Mokena, New Lenox, Tinley Park, Manhattan, Monee and Peotone.

You can find more information about the school at www.peacecommunitypreschool.org and at their open house on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 10 a.m. (21300 S. LaGrange Road).
